What not to put in the bibliography
Your reader wants to know where to find the items you cite. Your bibliography provides complete source information for these items. It is not a record of other material you may have used. Unless instructed otherwise, there should be no entries in the bibliography that do not match at least one citation. If you want to claim credit for a source, you should have an appropriate citation to it.
