Current Budget News

This blog is a continuation of "Current Budget News" on my course site. Older posts are found here
Click on the links to see the news. Items posted are not necessarily endorsed.  The two main sources are:
  • The Independent Budget Office (IBO), an office that supports New York City Council and the city's residents. Its perspective is generally neutral.
  • The Citizens Budget Commission (CBC), a private organization that provides external comment mostly on budgetary matters. Its perspective is generally pro-small government.
  • Other sources will be labeled more extensively to show the source.
This item will be relevant for a long time: IBO Budget Guide
